Your guide to Mental Health and Psychology

Who I Am

Hi! I’m Blanca De La Rosa, the voice behind De La Rosa Psychology and Mental Health, a blog dedicated to exploring mental health, psychology, and the human experience.

I started this blog with one simple intention: to open up honest conversations about the mind the beautiful, complex, messy, and resilient part of us that often goes unseen.

I'm a Professional Counselor Associate in the State of Oregon. I am passionate about mental wellness, emotional literacy, and the science behind how we think, feel, and grow.

Through De La Rosa Psychology and Mental Health, I share:

  • Insights from psychology and research

  • Personal reflections and lived experiences

  • Conversations around stigma, trauma, anxiety, and growth

Psychology and Mental Health Articles

On this blog, I explore mental health through the lens of psychology, research, and real-life experience. My writing bridges academic insights with the everyday human journey, making complex psychological concepts accessible, relevant, and deeply human. Whether I’m unpacking a theory, reflecting on lived emotions, or connecting research to personal growth, my goal is to spark understanding, empathy, and meaningful dialogue.
